By the looks of it, from this point forward, EVERY game in the Western Conference playoff race is going to be a huge game. The Clippers, who are the 4 seed, are separated from the Nuggets, who are in 9th right now, by only a game and a half. The race in the West is looking like it’s going to go down to the wire, and be quite the race to watch. In terms of the Rockets, I’m incredibly impressed by the way their playing with Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin in and out of the lineup. On paper, they look somewhat weak, but players like Goran Dragic have really stepped up for them. I’m rooting for them to clinch the 8th seed (at the very least), and see if they do anything against the big boys in the West in the playoffs.
