Personally, Shawn Marion was my Defensive Player of the Year even before Cuban said this. He has been a fantastic defender for years, and has really stepped up this year defending opposing teams main scorers. The Mavericks are a different team with him on the court, and when facing teams like the Lakers, his immense defensive presence has been an absolute difference maker. He’s my DPOY right now.

    Two words. Dwight Howard. No one makes more difference defensively to a team than he does. Take away Howard and all hell let loose…

      Yes, I think that Patrick Ewing has greatly help imrvope Dwight Howard’s success. And one day I hope to see him join Patrick in the Hall of Fame and being one of the top 50 greatest professional basketball player of all time.References :
