Tweet of the Day goes to Shaquille O’Neal for sending a congratulatory note and a word of advice to Dwight Howard, who will don a Lakers jersey for the upcoming season. O’Neal was actually the first person to say that the four-team trade would go through, as you can see from his Tweet of the Day from Thursday.
It’s no secret that O’Neal is not the biggest fan of Howard for reasons not worth discussing (“Superman” related), so it’s nice to see the dominant big man finally show some support for the man he claims is not better than center Andrew Bynum. It’s also interesting to note that Howard appears to be walking a path that O’Neal is very familiar with, as he moves from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers to play alongside Kobe Bryant.
O’Neal may be happy for Howard, but he joined one of many who did not support the decision of the Magic organization, as you will see below:
