Not many may have anticipated the return of Billups in time for the start of the upcoming season, but that is precisely what he is aiming to do, as he vowed to do when the injury initially occurred. The Clippers needed some good news after watching their superstars suffer injuries that required surgery over the summer. Blake Griffin tore a meniscus in his left knee while practicing with Team USA, and Chris Paul underwent thumb surgery today to repair a torn ligament. The good news is that all three players may be on track to be ready before the start of the season.
