Reggie Harding, a 7-0 center from Detroit’s Eastern High, was picked in the 4th round by the Pistons in 1962. Harding sat out one year, then split 4 seasons with  Detroit and Chicago ,averaging 9 points and 9 rebounds. Plagued by personal problems throughout his career, he was a murder victim  in 1972.
