Tweet of the Day: Anthony Morrow

The Chiefs are scheduled to host a home game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at 1:00 pm. There have been no plans on the part of the NFL to delay or postpone the game in light of the tragedy.

ESPN’s Bill Simmons takes issue with the NFL on this, as it seems simply inconsiderate to carry on with the game in such a short turnaround given the circumstances.

Such a horrible tragedy in KC. Chiefs game has to be postponed 1 or 2 days. How is this even a question? Do the right thing, NFL.

The most succinct tweets came from Detroit Pistons guard Kim English, who—beyond offering his prayers—reminds us all that there are outreach programs available to help when you or someone you know is considering suicide.

Sickening news this morning. My prayers are w/ the @ and the families of the 2 people who lost their lives!
