Sheridan Challenge Pays Off For 11 Others
The ”Beat Sheridan” Challenge had a $22 entry fee but fantastic odds of winning, especially compared to Friday’s Freeroll, where odds of 1,158-1 are kind of daunting. “PrincessDuckling,” a former Freeroll prize winner, won $180 for finishing first, and 11 of the 18 competitors got a $5 bonus for finishing ahead of Chris Sheridan.
My team needed a huge night from Chris Paul, didn’t get it and faded to seventh. It’s been a tough week; the last $9 from my $100 bankroll will be in play today. Some leagues close at 1:00 EST, many others at 6:00. If you want to use any players from the Lakers, Mavericks, Warriors or Timberwolves, you must join a 1:00 league. Better hurry, before they fill.
The other seven NBA games are included in 6 pm leagues, where today’s chart lists my top five in three different price ranges.
|DraftStreet 15||Feb. 24|
|Nando De Colo||$4,717|
|Starters||$9,000 to $13,000|
Feel free to use LeBron James, but he’s prohibitively expensive, nursing a leg injury and played last night. I’m bargain-hunting, with three Spurs who could pick up the slack for injured Tony Parker.
F1 Tim Duncan (SA-F) $16,457
F2 Nicolas Batum (POR-F) $13,856
G1 Dwyane Wade (MIA-G) $16,110
G2 Manu Ginobili (SA-G) $10,252
C1 DeMarcus Cousins (SAC-C) $16,798
C2 Tyson Chandler (NY-C) $14,493
U1 Marcus Morris (PHO-F) $7,146
U2 Nando De Colo (SA-G) $4,717
Manu Ginobili is probably my “best bet” at that salary, and Dwyane Wade figures to be the go-to guy again for Miami. You can make unlimited roster moves until the deadline; I might tweak my Utility spots but for now, those are my hunches. Good luck!
