Every Day is a Brand New Season
There will be another Sheridan Hoops Freeroll on Friday, and we certainly hope you’ll give it a try, like more than 1,200 teams did last week.
However, there is NBA action tonight and every night, for fun and profit. Because the Freeroll has an unlimited number of entries, your odds are many times better in $2 leagues, which are capped and have larger prize pools. This week, there will also be some great NCAA contests at DraftStreet that are well worth checking out.
With only four NBA games this evening, the Salary Cap leagues are still challenging. You can put together a competitive 8-man team hundreds of different ways.
|DraftStreet 15||Mar. 19|
|Starters||$9,000 to $13,000|
Obviously, there are fewer players to choose from than last night, when 22 teams were in action. The chart each day offers five suggestions in each of three price ranges, and the ‘middle class’ ($9,000 to $13,000) is particularly light. That suggests a “Stars-and-Scrubs” approach, like my lineup below. All leagues close at 7:00 EDT and you can make unlimited roster moves until that deadline.
F1 Kevin Durant (OKC-F) $20,258
F2 Patrick Patterson (SAC-F) $11,462
G1 Brandon Jennings (MIL-G) $15,089
G2 Isaiah Thomas (SAC-G) $13,590
C1 Larry Sanders (MIL-C) $13,795
C2 DeAndre Jordan (LAC-C) $9,004
U1 Jamal Crawford (LAC-G) $8,784
U2 Caron Butler (LAC-F) $7,771
My strategy boils down to Kevin Durant, two Bucks and using five players from the Kings game, including three bargain Clippers. If DeMarcus Cousins returns, I’ll replace Patrick Patterson.
