Will the Miami Heat lose another game this season?

With a nail-biting 105-103 victory against a surprisingly feisty Boston Celtics team that played without Kevin Garnett, the Miami Heat extended their ridiculous winning streak to 23 games – the second best streak ever in NBA history.

The team overcame a career night from Jeff Green, who had a whopping 43 points on 14-of-21 shooting – including 5-of-7 from the 3-point line and 10-of-13 from the stripe – along with seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks. Some of his highlights:

LeBron James was just as fantastic, as usual, with 37 points on 16-of-29 shooting, seven rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, two blocks and one incredible dunk over a helpless Jason Terry, who suffered a Brandon Knight-esque fate as you can see below:

Terry had the support of at least one player in Harrison Barnes, who gave the guard credit for the effort:

Just saw that dunk 😳.....gotta give Jason Terry credit for his effort

Oh, and by the way, James hit what proved to be the game-winning basket as well with 10.5 seconds remaining in the game:

  1. I’m pretty sure Parker will be playing. All signs to point to him coming back earlier than the 4 week period that was originally stated.

    • True, but if he does come back, it’ll likely be around that time and he’ll be rusty.

      • Talk is he could be back this week, which would give him a few games under his belt. Even rusty Parker will provide for a fun game than no Parker. The Spurs offense without him has not been fun to watch.
