Tweet of the Night: Shaquille O’Neal fires back at Kendrick Perkins

Kendrick PerkinsCenter Kendrick Perkins is known for being a tough defensive presence for the Oklahoma City Thunder. From an offensive standpoint, he has largely been ineffective since undergoing knee surgery back in 2010.

The playoffs have especially been unkind to Perkins, who has shot a woeful 35 percent from the field in seven combined games. That’s pretty unacceptable from the five spot, no matter how little-involved you are in the offensive schemes.

The offensive struggle continued on Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, as he shot just one-of-four from the field, including three turnovers. Former teammate Shaquille O’Neal took notice and decided to call him out on the matter:

Wow @ is dominating2 PTs. When he gets 20 and 10 then ill stop talking about myself#worryaboutyourowngameandname
@SHAQ
SHAQ

What’s this about, you might ask? During Monday’s telecast on TNT, Perkins thought Shaq talked about himself a little too much on air, so he shared his complaint with the world:

Do Shack ever stop talking about himself. SMH

The two are probably good acquaintances from sharing the same lockerroom once in Boston, so the “beef” should probably be taken with a grain of salt.

And just for fun-times sake:

    My husband and i got comfortable Louis could do his analysis through your precious recommendations he obtained from your blog. It’s not at all simplistic to just be freely giving steps the rest might have been selling. We keep in mind we now have the website owner to thank for this. These explanations you’ve made, the easy site navigation, the relationships you make it easier to promote – it is most spectacular, and it’s leading our son in addition to the family believe that this issue is brilliant, which is certainly extremely pressing. Many thanks for all the pieces!

    I think Perk didn’t apologize to Shaq but rather for getting the name autocorrected as ‘Shack’.
