Ever since Andre Igoudala agreed to sign with the Golden State Warriors on Friday, Jarrett Jack has not been the happiest of campers on twitter. Jack knew his time in Golden State would end once the team renounced its Bird rights to retain him. His initial reaction was “It’s been fun while it lasted”.
Just 24 hours after the news, it was announced on Saturday that Jack would sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a four-year deal that could be worth up to $25 million. He will likely come off the bench as a combo-guard behind Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters and provide the type of veteran leadership the team sorely lacks.
Now, we get to Jack’s response to a hater on Twitter about him signing with the Cavaliers. Jack has always been out-spoken on the social media network, so this was no surprise. Here is what he had to say to the heckler:
FOH urkle!!!!RT @assad_yousuf: @Jarrettjack03 #badchoice #smh #cavs #really?
— JARRETT JACK (@Jarrettjack03) July 7, 2013
You will have to click on the heckler’s name to fully appreciate the comedy of this particular call-out. Simply put, he looks like a clone version of Steve Urkel.
Rating the tweet from 1-10 (10 being the best), I will give it a 9. If Jack spelled Urkel’s name correctly, it would have been an easy 10. Either way, it’s one of the funnier twitter responses to a hater I have seen in a very long time from an NBA athlete.
