Monday finds about half of the NBA in action. The most intriguing matchup of the day is the Bulls-Nets in Brooklyn. Both teams are playing well and are battling for the third though fifth playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. Monday also means that the NBA action at DraftStreet is gearing up for another Wednesday 50K, with satellites from $1 to $11 are in the lobby. The 50K is the largest regular NBA contests in daily fantasy that I am aware of. But why wait until Wednesday? There is no shortage of large-field ,big-guaranteed prize pool contests, most notably two $10,000 GPPs on tap tonight. If you don’t have a DraftStreet account, you can sign up using this link . Here is today’s Fantasy Spin.

My Lineup at DraftStreet
The following is my recommended lineup, subject to change, for the $11/$10,000 Standard Payout GPP at DraftStreet (closing at 1:00 pm EST). You are required to have three guards, three forwards, one center and one wildcard/utility player for a legal eight-player lineup in DraftStreet NBA contests:
F-LeBron James/MIA-$21,139, G-Damian Lillard/POR-$15,653, F-Nicolas Batum/POR-$13,936, C-Robin Lopez/POR-$13,718, F-Tyreke Evans/NOP-$10,960, G-Wesley Matthews/POR-$9,254, G-Mario Chalmers/MIA-$8,652, C-Chris Andersen/MIA-$6,063.
Among the elite players, LeBron/MIA is the best lineup anchor. Evans/NOP has boosted his value since becoming a starter and has a solid matchup against the Kings. Portland should approach 120 points, so that makes all the Blazers regulars good value plays. Batum/POR in particular is riding a wave of increased production.
Knicks and Pistons in Danger of Missing Playoffs
Memphis Grizzlies at Washington Wizards (7:00 pm EST); over/under 189; pick . INJURIES: MEM: Beno Urih (Q); WAS: Kevin Seraphin (Q), Nene Hilario (OUT).
Chicago Bulls* at Brooklyn Nets (7:30 pm EST); over/under 187; Nets -2.5 . INJURIES: CHI: Joakim Noah (Q) ; BKN: Deron Williams (P), Kevin Garnett (Q).
This is a deceptively big game. Two teams on this rise clash, and the state of Joakim Noah’s/CHI ankle is uncertain. There could be opportunities for Bulls bargains if Noah has to sit. Andray Blatche/BKN is a nice spec play, particularly if Garnett/BKN rests.
New York Knicks* at Detroit Pistons (7:30 pm EST); over/under 207.5; Pistons -4 . INJURIES: NYK: Kenyon Martin (OUT), Andrea Bargani (OUT); DET: Josh Harrellson (OUT) .
I normally don’t invest in players with zero days rest against a fresh team, but Tyson Chandler/NYK is an exception.
Charlotte Bobcats* at Miami Heat (7:30 pm EST); over/under 196; Heat -11.5 . INJURIES: CHA: ; MIA: .
The Heat are firing on all cylinders, though a blowout is unlikely. Besides LeBron/MIA, Chris Andersen/MIA is a solid bargain play.
Utah Jazz at Milwaukee Bucks (8:00 pm EST); over/under 194.5; pick . INJURIES: UTA: ; MIL: Larry Sanders (OUT).
The Jazz are far from a good road team and the Bucks are playing with youthful energy and confidence. Khris Middleton/MIL and Brandon Knight/MIL are top plays.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Denver Nuggets (9:00 pm EST); over/under 212; Wolves -5 . INJURIES: MIN: Ronny Turiaf (OUT); DEN: Kenneth Faried (P), Ty Lawson (Q) .
Coach Shaw has lost his team and only the return of Ty Lawson/DEN can spark them. If Lawson sits again, expect a double digit loss to the Wolves.
Los Angeles Lakers at Portland Trail Blazers (10:00 pm EST); over/under 220; Blazers -12.5 . INJURIES: LAL: Xavier Henry (P), Nick Young (OUT), Kobe Bryant (OUT); POR: Thomas Robinson (Q), Joel Freeland (OUT) .
The Lakers have reshuffled the pack, with Xavier Henry/LAL returning from the D-League and Jordan Farmar/LAL easing out Kendall Marshall/LAL as the top point guard.
New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings (10:00 pm EST); over/under 203; Kings -3 . INJURIES: NOP: Smith, Holiday and Anderson (All OUT Season); SAC: Carl Landry (Q).
Anthony Davis/NOP will have a bounce back game, but is a little too risky at his current price. For the Kings, Isaiah Thomas/SAC is the best bet.
Yesterday’s News
TOP GUNS:
Joakim Noah/CHI. The Bulls are hard to beat when Noah is doling out the assists. He had to leave with an ankle sprain late in the game.
Jeff Teague/ATL.
DeMar DeRozan/TOR. It was predictable that DeRozan would take up most of the offensive responsibility, with Kyle Lowry/TOR at less than 100%.
Nikola Vucevic/ORL, Tyson Chandler/NYK, Tobias Harris/ORL, Thaddeus Young/PHI.
SLEEPERS:
C.J. Watson/IND. Figured to start for George Hill/IN and took full advantage.
Henry Sims/PHI. The new starting center, we can expect his stock to rise.
Ish Smith/PNX. Still producing despite the return of Goran Dragic/PNX.
Mike Scott/ATL, Marcus Morris/PNX, Maurice Harkless/ORL.
LET DOWNS:
Carmelo Anthony/NYK. The injury is affecting his opportunity volume.
Kemba Walker/CHA, Patrick Mills/SAS, Roy Hibbert/IND, Richard Jefferson/UTA.
