Kobe Bryant is an NBA legend. As a matter of fact, he’s knocking on Michael Jordan’s door as we speak, ready to take his spot for third on the all-time scoring list.
He’s only 31 points away from MJ and making history, which he’s already done a couple times this season. There’s a chance Kobe will leap Jordan on Friday night on national television when the Lakers travel to San Antonio to face the defending champion Spurs on ESPN.
Other than cementing himself as one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA, the Mamba has been working with Showtime on a documentary entitled ‘Kobe Bryant’s Muse’.
The documentary gives viewers a deeper look at Kobe Bryant the person, not just the player. He talks about his recovery from his torn achilles a couple years ago, being a leader and the evolution of his game.
Kobe tweeted out the launch trailer on Friday.
“This isn’t a film. … I wanna say something”.
The trailer leaves basketball fans wanting more. I didn’t even blink for that whole minute.
Kobe Bryant is a world famous athlete. Even though he’s known throughout the globe, fans don’t get to see the more personal side of him when he’s on the court. What comes off the court is a completely different story.
With the creepy intense music playing throughout the trailer, it has to give you that feel that Kobe holds nothing back in the feature. His first few words say a lot about what you can expect to see.
Whether or not you’re a fan of him, you’ll be tuned in when the documentary airs next February on Showtime. This is a must see for basketball fans.
