The NBA may be where friendships are made and families are built, but it is first and foremost a business. That means difficult decisions are constantly made by management to do what they feel is necessary to improve their team, even if it hurts some feelings along the way.
On Tuesday afternoon, it was reported that the Miami Heat would trade Mario Chalmers and James Ennis to the struggling Memphis Grizzlies for Beno Udrih and Jarnell Stokes. Chalmers, who helped the Heat win two championships in his seven seasons with the team (also played the role of a punching bag often times), had plenty to be thankful for and shared his thoughts on twitter:
