I’m hardly a golf expert, but it’s worth the $20 entry fee to take a shot at becoming a millionaire. In addition to the seven-figure grand prize, there’s another guaranteed $3,000,000 in cash paid out to more than 48,000 other teams from a maximum of 229,800 entries. As of 11:30 this morning, the contest is about half full — if it doesn’t fill, your odds are even better.

Houston at Dallas is the game of the night. A Rockets win would give the teams identical records, along with the tiebreaker and an easier remaining schedule. The Mavericks have ridden an improved defensive effort to four straight wins, holding opponents under 90 points. James Harden $10800, Dwight Howard $6100 and Trevor Ariza $5300 might be harder to stop, so Dirk Nowitzki $6400, J.J. Barea $6100 and Wesley Matthews $4900 need to score.
The Thunder won easily in Denver with nobody playing 30 minutes, so they should have plenty left. While the Blazers had to work harder to beat Sacramento, they’re at home with incentive: beating OKC tonight improves Portland’s chances to avoid them in a first-round matchup. Damian Lillard $8700, C.J. McCollum $7000 and Gerald Henderson $3400 are good value.
It’s a must-win for Andre Drummond $7600 against Nikola Vucevic $6900 and Tobias Harris $6200 returns to Orlando on a roll. However, Detroit got destroyed in Miami last night, and the Magic are feeling no pressure. Evan Fournier $4500 and Aaron Gordon $5500 are also attractively priced.
There’s no such thing as a sure thing. If the Warriors can lose at home to Minnesota, so can the Celtics against the exhausted, undermanned Pelicans. There may not be individual DFS stars because Boston can go 13-deep as they try to open the playoffs at home.
John Wall $9800 won’t quit until the Wizards are mathematically out. Marcin Gortat $6100 is a good play against Henry Sims $3500; at PF Thomas Robinson $4700 has posted four straight double-doubles; he and Markieff Morris $5300 are both playable.
In the jam-packed East, Charlotte has fallen all the way to sixth. Only Jeremy Lin $4100 stood out in last night’s loss in Toronto. Carmelo Anthony $7700 (rest) is expected back for the Knicks, draining fantasy value from others.
The Lakers are a mess. Kobe Bryant $4400 was 2-for-12 and they shot 31.3% as a team. The Clippers can afford to rest their stars in tonight’s rematch, so maybe Jeff Green $4000 and Cole Aldrich $3300 will get extra run.
