Tweet of the Night: Lala Vasquez Anthony

By now, most of you have heard the rumors about what Kevin Garnett may have said to Carmelo Anthony to make him go berserk during and after the game between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics in Madison Square Garden back in Jan. 7.

If you don’t know the whole story, just click here to see what all the commotion has been about. To make a long story short, Garnett supposedly told Anthony that his wife and singer Lala Vasquez Anthony tasted like a delicious bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.

Doc Rivers, the coach of Boston Celtics, defended Garnett on Thursday by stating that his center never said such things, guaranteed.

It’s unlikely that we’ll ever find out what exactly was said between the players, but one thing is for absolute certain: the cereal known as Honey Nut Cheerios will never quite sound the same again.

Dwyane Wade plans on marrying Gabrielle Union

Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade, making the TV talk show rounds to promote his new book, dropped a huge piece of information about his personal life Wednesday.

Appearing on CBS This Morning and fielding questions from co-host Gayle King for about 5 1/2 minutes, Wade was asked by King whether a union with Union was in his future plans.

“I wouldn’t be with her if I didn’t see her as a future Mrs. Wade,” Wade told King. “When the time is right, the time is right.”

Wade didn’t commit to any sort schedule, explaining to King that his relationship with Union is “still growing.”

Wade’s book is entitled, ”A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball.” In the book, he provides an honest, inside look at the highly public, often ugly but successful custody battle for his two sons with his high school sweetheart and ex-wife Siovaughn.

The book tour began Tuesday and runs through Sept. 22, making stops in New York, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington.

Wade also told King he is ahead of schedule in his recovery from offseason knee surgery.
