The award has gone to characters such as J.R Smith and Anthony Mason, stars such as James Harden and Kevin McHale, and champions such as Toni

Photo of the Day: Raptors Rookies Stay Warm Up North With Help of Vets

Caboclo and Noguiera Feature

Much like the New Orleans Pelicans rookies, the Toronto Raptors rookies get their share of hazing. This type of treatment towards the newcomers apparently happens up in Canada too. Instead of making them carry around girly luggage, the Raptors vets were a bit more caring in that their gifts for the rooks will help keep them warm in the cold Canadian climate. Maybe they’ll stay warm, but that won’t keep their teammates from giving them as much grief possible.

Nogueira, born in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro, was the 16th pick of the 2013 draft, taken by Boston and sent to Atlanta on draft night. Nogueira

How Atlanta Could Attract LeBron and Carmelo to Create a Dynasty in the East

NBA: Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers

This may come as a surprise, but the Atlanta Hawks are actually closer to becoming championship contenders than you might think. This summer, Atlanta has a realistic opportunity to present LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony with the most attractive free agent pitch of any team in the league, if Danny Ferry maneuvers contracts aggressively and appropriately. It’s certainly an ambitious idea, but it’s far from ridiculous. First and most obviously, the Hawks are situated in the Eastern Conference. This gives them a succinct
