statmannAs the college hoops begins the round of 64 on Thursday, the NBA had a very busy night on Wednesday. 11 games made up the NBA schedule on the 20th of March, 2013.

The Heat are starting to show god-like qualities, as they not only won their 24th straight game on Wednesday, but they accomplished a small miracle by rallying down 27 points in the second half. In other NBA action, the Marc Gasol and Anthony Davis played tip-in the game-winner to lead their teams to exciting wins, Tim Duncan made a visit to the fountain of youth and the Nets kept pace with the Knicks in the race to win the Atlantic Division.

statmannEight games were on the NBA schedule during the Tuesday of Championship Week 2013 as three more teams secured their place in the NCAA tournament.

Meanwhile in the NBA, the Heat continued to inch closer to NBA history with their 19th straight win, the Lakers continued their march toward the postseason, the Celtics were treated very poorly by the Bobcats and Timberwolves showed everyone “that’s why you play the game”.

Occasionally the NBA has a night in the NBA that fans remember whenever they think of wonderful memories concerning the historic league. The final Wednesday in February 2013 was one of those nights that fans will speak of with “Oh, man! Let me tell you about the night I saw a Davidson grad light up “The World’s Most Famous Arena!!”.

There were 10 games on the schedule Wednesday night in the NBA. The Spurs were given a rude welcome home by the Suns thanks to Wes Johnson, Kevin Durant turned a triple-double against the Hornets at home, Monta Ellis made Rockets fans cry at the buzzer and Tyson Chandler had an incredible night no one will remember thanks to Stephen Curry.

While one might be the loneliest number according to “Three Dog Night”, four was the most exciting number in the NBA last night, as in fourth quarter.

11 games were on the NBA docket for Wednesday night. The Lakers honored Dr. Jerry Buss while a current legend passed a former legend, the Knicks were flattened by Indiana, the Heat was turned on in the fourth quarter in Atlanta and Kyrie Irving pulled victory from defeat in Cleveland.
