Social media is a great place for the fans to interact with and better get to know the celebrities and athletes that they follow. Stars usually share some of what they have going on in their lives on social media, giving the public a window into their lives. Sometimes that window becomes a door when they choose to take questions on social media.
Generally, when athletes and celebrities do Q&As on social media, it is interesting to follow along to see the questions that fans ask and how they are answered.
Tuesday, however, things seem to have gone a bit differently, as Golden State Warriors forward Harrison Barnes decided to field questions on Twitter.
Inspired by @andrewbogut to do a Q&A on the flight. Use #AskHB and I’ll try to get to as many as I can

Judging by some of the responses, it seems that other NBA athletes (current/former) were just as interested in asking questions. Let’s take a look at a few. From teammate center Andrew Bogut:
@hbarnes will you go by Harry, Mr.Barnes or #BLACKFALCON once you enter politics? #askHB — Andrew Bogut (@andrewbogut) March 3, 2015
“@andrewbogut: @hbarnes will you go by Harry, Mr.Barnes or #BLACKFALCON once you enter politics? #askHB” as my advisor it’ll be your call

Unfortunately, two of his teammates asked questions that seem to be either sworn to secrecy or inside jokes because the answers were vague at best. From teammate guard Stephen Curry:
Hey @hbarnes….”Who is he?” #AskHB — Stephen Curry (@StephenCurry30) March 3, 2015
@StephenCurry30 “Do I have permission?” #BARS

From teammate forward Draymond Green:
Hey @HBarnes why do they call you Black Falcon? #AskHB — Draymond Green (@Money23Green) March 3, 2015
@Money23Green lol should have come to dinner last night and you would know
— Harrison Barnes (@hbarnes) March 3, 2015
Former NBA forward Brian Scalabrine asked the ever common player comparison question.
@hbarnes who is toughest guy to guard? Melo, LBJ, KD? Only in ISOs with no pick and roll? — Brian Scalabrine (@Scalabrine) March 3, 2015
“@Scalabrine: @hbarnes who is toughest guy to guard? Melo, LBJ, KD? Only in ISOs with no pick and roll?” All tough…probably KD

One fan asked Barnes a soccer related question.
“@RoundYarn: @hbarnes #askHB what soccer teams worldwide do you like?” @FCBarcelona
— Harrison Barnes (@hbarnes) March 3, 2015
Milwaukee Bucks big man John Henson, who was Barnes’ teammate with the UNC Tar Heels, responded.
Wow. Even in jest, calling FC Barcelona trash is pretty harsh.
Fortunately, it seems that Barnes knows Henson well enough to tell that he’s out of his mind on this one.
@_John_Henson_ @RoundYarn @FCBarcelona even you don’t believe that
